Revisitng The Buffster

Did I just say "Buffster"?

So I'm minding my own damn business on Friday, checking up on the latest news here and there, when what to my wondering eyes did appear (see me getting in the Christmas spirit?) but Amazon having the Buffy The Vampire Slayer Chosen Collection DVD set on sale for a measly seventy big ones!  That's like, ten F'N bucks per season!  This thing retails for $200 at Best Buy for crying out loud!  Seventy bucks!  That's just crazy talk.

After I get excited because I know I'm gettin' one or I will surely die, the business sense kicks in.  I check ebay, and they are going for pretty penny.  So I do what any good JR Ewing wannabe would do.  I get six of them.  That's right, six.  Three of which arrived today.  And they are freakin' gorgeous is what they are.

Apparently, however, there's a number of us JR wannabes out there.  The ebay prices have come down a bit, but I should still be able to both get mine for free and turn a nice little profit off this enterprise (wrong show).  So while the dollar signs in my eyes have subsided a bit, I should still be able to get a cowboy hat and call Sue Ellen "darlin'".

Then of course, I'll have to watch all 40 discs in a row.  Which will, I'm sure, having me seeing Buffy, Willow and the gang when my eyes are both open and closed.  

Probably forever.
